It's not all perfect. In fact, it's not even close.

Man, life is hard sometimes. I feel like I'm juggling a dozen balls right now, and when you're doing that, it's probably not going to end well. Between work, this here blog, the new camera, getting to the gym, visiting friends from faraway lands, and trying to cook and keep a clean house, something is bound to slip through the cracks. That something is the cleanliness of my home. See exhibit A (the photo above.)

The reason I'm sharing this with you is in the interest of honesty.

I look at a lot of blogs, especially ones similar to mine because I find them interesting and inspiring. However, almost all of the blogs I look at show the beautiful, unique, fun, and exciting things, and very few of them show the "messy" or unpleasant things. Like these women have beautiful homes, perfect marriages, unlimited money, adorable looking babies/children and apparently not a care in the world.

I'm not just talking about literal mess. I'm talking about all the mess that life brings. It happens to all of us. No matter how glamorous someone's life seems on a reality show, on facebook, or in their blog, they have messes too. Mess is impossible to avoid because it is a part of life.

And because this is a "lifestyle" blog. I want to share all of my life with you, the good, the bad, and the ugly. I try to be as honest as I can. I talk about embarrassing moments, wishful moments, depressing moments, and remorseful moments and of course I also share the happy, fun, adventurous and loving moments too.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I appreciate when other people are real, so I want this space to be real too. Real recognize real, nah mean? And that means showing you my "mess," literal and otherwise.

Well. Now that I went on that tangent, I'll have you know that yesterday I committed to cleaning up some of my mess.

My dressing room is my very own space in the house. Which means I can make it as messy as I want and BryGuy isn't allowed to say a word about it. But after a few weeks of this nonsense I was feeling overwhelmed by the mere sight of my clothes thrown about. It only took me 30 dedicated minutes to get this room back to normal and now it is my zen girly space again.

I'll have you know that most of these clothes are clean, they just end up thrown about like this because I can't decide what to wear in the mornings and I never put away my clean laundry in a timely manner.

And just to prove that I didn't stuff all of my mess into the closets, here are photos of my neatly organized closet.
