Oh. You were looking for a little bit more than that? Alright so I'm a married lady working in Philadelphia and living just outside of the city. My husband, BryGuy (as he shall be referred to throughout the blog) is pretty dope - here's a little bit more on him, in his own words

In early 2015, BryGuy and I welcomed our baby girl into this world and a few months later bought a house! So, the blog will also touch on topics of parenting and home ownership too.

I work in communications and marketing and love all things related to web design and social media strategy. When I'm not holed up in my office from 9 to 5, I'm usually cooking up a storm in the kitchen, eating at awesome restaurants and reviewing them on Yelp (see my past yelp reviews), obsessively scouring Pinterest, or scheming about the weekend's plans.

I started Marissa says... at the end of 2012 because I needed a project. I was coming off a year and a half of wedding planning, followed by a phenomenal honeymoon and I really needed something new to focus on.

Marissa says... is a lifestyle blog with insight on all things food, fitness, Philadelphia, entertaining, fashion, design, and more.

So there it is -- now you have the skinny.

  1. You will need another lens to augment the d60 normal lens, and quickly. Suggest this one http://www.amazon.com/camera-photo/dp/B004FN1W2I--(tamron 19-270 zoom with internal motor. buy it, and you won't need another for some time to come, if ever. you likely will throw the 50mm lens into the trash.

    2. Thanks for the tip! I checked it out. It's a little out of my price range for the moment, but I'll add it to my wishlist for the future!
